Individual Sessions
Individual sessions are a service provided directly to a client by a therapist to address goals that are evidenced-based and measurable. Examples of these goals may include goals from an IEP, goals being worked on with other therapists, or areas of need that are impacting daily living.

All of our individual music therapy sessions require an evaluation to determine if services will be beneficial for the prospective client. These evaluations will take course over the first few sessions and will be charged our normal session rate amount.
Evaluations typically are performed in two parts. The first portion will include the therapist talking with the family or caregiver. During this time, the therapist will discuss with the family the areas of highest need for the client and what goals the family is hoping to achieve by utilizing music therapy. The following section of the evaluation will include the introduction of music interventions performed by the therapist to address the desired areas of concern and measure the prospective client's response. Once the in-person evaluation is complete, the report will be completed and emailed to the responsible party within 2 weeks. If a client qualifies for services, scheduling will then take place.
Our team will review this process in more detail during the family’s free consultation.

Individual sessions are typically scheduled once per week, though session frequency can vary depending on the client's need. Populations that may be served in our facility include:
Disabilities

At our center, your child will be met with multiple interventions and songs that are designed for their individual and unique needs. During their sessions, they will have our undivided attention to address the highest areas of concern and utilize their full time to address as much as possible to develop/support new skills.

Parents are encouraged to use interventions introduced in sessions to create consistency throughout the child's daily living and routines. It also is encouraged to share strategies that we are doing with other therapists and support staff in the child's life. A way that we make this easily accessible is through our client's uniquely tailored Google Drive Resource Folder. This is a service we provide all of our clients for no additional charge to continue to promote collaboration and consistency through all service providers.
